We are here for more
I was once told that the world doesn't revolve around me. It was harsh but I thank him for grounding me to the truth.
With this, I am always reminded that there is more to life and to the world that I see. There are hungry children out there. People living in tattered homes. Women who are subject to abuse. The rain forests being cleared by the hectares. That's the reality we live in today.
I have created to a NEW PAGE that's dedicated to giving back. With this page, I try to make giving back easier for all of us. In this page, there are click-to-donate banners where you and I can easily help those in need.
I'm still collecting 'click-to-donate banners'. If you happen to have any, please email me. Meanwhile, continue clicking to help and someone will not go to bed hungry and the tiger's sanctuary will be protected.
Thank you. xoxo

Long Tee
Long tee, my other favourite. Found this preloved:never worn long tee on the blog. I love the statement printed on it, though it only made half sense. More importantly, it is going for RM20 now.

Long Champ
THIS IS IT! This is what I've been looking for. I went all the way to Singapore to look for them, the original ones. And I've been indiscreetly oogling at ladies carrying such bags in the malls, having a strong temptation of asking them where they got theirs from. Oh, I finally found YOU.....
Only need to butter my hubby up to let me buy it. Going for RM330. If only it is that easy. Sigh.

Ruffled dress
In the next couple of weeks, my Saturdays will be filled with weddings. And weddings are memorable moments for me. So, I need to make and leave a good impression. The key to that is looking good and don't, never ever, be caught dead wearing the same thing to different weddings.
This is something I'm considering.... what do you think? Going for RM34 only. Well, I'll consider it. But if it fancies you, go ahead.

New Page
Pretty and Under 40 has always been dedicated to make shopping easier, fun and accessible. Logically, I can't possibly keep track of everything on the blogosphere.
So, I came out with an ingenious idea, that is a PAGE where I group all the other reviewers, comrades, sisters in shopping, shopaholics who love to share, etc together in the 'More Reviewers' page. It's like a blogshop reviewers directory. Ain't I smart or what? SMRT! SMRT!

Durians finally
Btw, I read some where that if I keep a food journal, I'll unconsciously lose weight. I shall try... after the durians of course.
Adios senorita!

A typical day in life
Here's what happens almost daily (except for the weekends):
Well, I will be waken up by my alarm which I'd have set for 7am. Usually I'll snooze it and roll around the bed for another 1 hour. Notice I said 'usually'? That's because at most times, my hubby will be the one to switch it off and I'll sleep through it until 8am.
At 8, I'll walk groggily to the bathroom and do my usual routine, which I wouldn't want to go into details.
I'll take about 3 minutes to check my blackberry for emails. I like reading new emails from blogshops. I seriously do! It's almost like window shopping that takes no more than 5 minutes to scroll down their blog. If I see anything blogworthy, I'll save the picture of it and make a mental note.
By 8.50, I'll be ready to take off to work. The drive is short. Just 5 minutes. While driving, I'll start coming up with words for the first blog of the day.
At work, the usual takes place. Managing, talking, yadda yadda and what not. At any break I have, I'll put the words together for the clothes, trinkets, and dresses (my favorite) I saw in the morning and blog about it from my blackberry.
At lunch, I'll check my blackberry again. Usually by this time, my blackberry will hang on the account of too few RAM. Then I'll spend the next 2 minutes rebooting it. That's clearly a sign for a new phone, like something that starts with an 'i'.
Moving on. So every 3 hours or so, I'll look out for emails from the blogshops, go check out the blogs, and blog about it.
Well, that's typically my day. HOWEVER, if you notice the slack in my blog lately, I haven't been getting a lot of emails from blogshops as frequent as before.
Blogshop owners, I know you are out there. Just don't forget to add Pretty and Under 40 into your mailing list. I Love (with the capital L) blogshopping. Xoxo.
Otherwise, I'll start blogging about my ever so undramatic personal life. Seriously, that's a bore.

Watch
While the designers get their fashion sense right, you can consider hanging watches on your neck. Plus they are elegant, timeless and fits right into your wardrobe.
How pretty, hey. Going for RM31 and RM37.

Crap
But according to some cats, IT IS. They've been taking a dump on my plants - my choy sum, my yam plant and now, my iron tree (that's suppose to be the strongest plant and I do hope it can withstand all the crap it has been taking).
Yesterday morning, I caught the culprit red handed. It was the tabby that I've seen strolling in the neighbourhood.
Yet the problem is not solved yet. If I move this tree indoor, it'll crap on my other plants. Oh my.
