Chocolate Desire

Opus Bistro Bangsar was a friend's recommendation. Located in a secluded part of Bangsar, Jalan Bangkung, the restaurant took me by surprise. I'd give it 5 star for its coziness. As we walked in, we were serenaded by soft jazz music while the shelves were filled with wine bottles. Pleasant interior.

My hubby ordered a trio combo (platter with a combination of lamb, foei gras and beef) and my, they were the tenderress (if there's such a word) meat we've ever tasted. I took the Aglio Oglio smoked duck spaghetti. Frankly, nothing to shout about.

However, I want to bring all your attention to this. This very dessert. The Chocolate Desire. Baked chocolate cake with a scoop of haagen dazz vanilla ice cream. Don't, never ever, let the chocolate cake deceive you. The moment you pierced into it, thick hot chocolate fudge gushes out from it. Never have we tasted anything so tempting. My hubby and I 'fought' for every bit of it. Believe it or not, it's only RM19.

Normally, Hubby doesn't fancy the restaurants I recommend, but he actually said to go back for more Chocolate Desire.

P.s: the candle was for my hubby. Chocolate Desire was his birthday cake
P.s.s: see you at opus
